Valentinos Sofokleous MD, MSc, FEB ORL-HNS works as a specialist Otorhinolaryngologist at the “P. & A. Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, Athens, Greece.
He graduated with High Distinction from the University of Athens Medical School and received his training in Otorhinolaryngology in Nicosia and Athens. He was the top-ranked participant in the European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Part I, held in June 2018, in Istanbul. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Rhinology (with High Distinction) from the University of Patras and the Democritus University of Thrace and a Postgraduate Certificate in Audiology and Neurotology from the University of Athens.
Dr. Sofokleous has received several awards and honors, among which the ‘European Federation of Audiology Societies’ Congress Scholarship 2019, the ‘American-Austrian Foundation’ OMI award for Academic Excellence, the ‘A. G. Leventis Foundation’ Educational Grant 2018-2020, the ‘Best Oral Presentation’ award in the 19th Panhellenic Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Congress, and the ‘Best Research Project’ Prize 2019 awarded by the Greek Rhinologic Society.
His current clinical and research interests cover the full breadth of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, with a particular interest, though, in Rhinology and Neuroaudiology.
