Title : Tips on upper blepharoplasty

Abstract:

Nuances on upper eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty will be discussed from the perspective of an experience oculofacial surgeon. The concept of tissue(fat) preservation, incision placement and adjuvant procedures to enhance outcomes will be discussed during the presentation.

Biography:

Dr. Jose Raul Montes obtained his Medical Degree at University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine, and a Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, licensed to practice in Puerto Rico, Florida and New York.

With almost 30 years’ experience and as member of various Advisory Boards for several pharmaceuticals companies, he has overseen the process of introducing new products for FDA approval into the United States. He is an established top injector, author, researcher, speaker and trainer. He has numerous publications in medical journals and contributions in medical books.
