Biography:
Afiq Rafidzy Bin Anwar Samhari is a General Surgery Registrar in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at University Hospital Galway. He holds an MCh from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and MRCS (Edinburgh). His clinical interests include upper gastrointestinal surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction and minimally invasive surgery. He has a strong interest in surgical research, audit and quality improvement, with several peer-reviewed publications and national and international presentations.
