Biography:
Ivy Kuo earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, Developmental Biology at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) before moving to the UK for her BMBS at University of Southampton. She completed foundation training and a junior clinical fellow year in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Orthoplastics centre for Wessex, Salisbury District Hospital, from 2021-2024. She completed core surgical training from 2024-2026, gaining membership in the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2025, and is now working as a specialty registrar in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust.
