Biography:
Jimena Alvarez del C. completed her medical training in Mexico, where she subsequently worked as a GP, in the A&E department, and in the intensive care unit during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was later awarded an academic scholarship for Master’s degree in Global Public Health and Nutrition in the UK. In August 2022, she decided to specialize in surgery, gaining experience at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Endoscopy and Upper and Lower GI Surgery, at St Mary’s Hospital in Vascular Surgery, and at Charing Cross Hospital in General Surgery. She is currently working as a surgical clinical fellow in Plastic Surgery.
