Title : Dermatofibrosarcomaprotuberans : A Case series and Review of clinical management from a tertiary care center
Abstract:
Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans was first described by Darier and Ferrand in 1924, and was termed by Hoffmann in 1925. In this clinical series of patients with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans data was retrieved ,collected and analysed for the study from JSS Hospital (2023-2026) .In case series there were 3 males and 1 females of age range from 60- 70 years had commonly reported to have malignant soft tissue sarcomas and local recurrence. Male predominance is there and patients were from low socio economic status . The duration of symptoms varied from 4 to 8 years and underwent wide local excision . The clinical , morphological characteristics and treatment of DFSP were evaluated .
