Biography:
Amr Badawy began his studies in Microbiology at the University of Leeds in 2017, where he gained a solid understanding of microbial science. In 2020, he transitioned to St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, to study Medicine, with a growing focus on surgery. His specific interest lies in infection control within surgical settings, and he is now pursuing research to better understand and improve infection prevention strategies during surgical procedures. Amr is dedicated to advancing surgical practices through a deeper understanding of infection management.
