Seung Ju Yoo

Biography:

Seung Ju Yoo is a third-year medical student at Newcastle University(UK), with interests in colorectal surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and meta-analyses comparing perioperative outcomes. He has co-led a national clinical skills teaching series after identifying gaps in medical school education, and ultimately delivered tailored teaching to increase student knowledge and performance. He has engaged in research aiming to analyse and enhance surgical management of cancer in the older population. He hopes to pursue a career in surgery and aspires to advance evidence-based surgical interventions.
