Abstract:

Right iliac fossa pain is most common clinical presentation encountered in surgical opd. Usually during evaluation, diagnosis is uncertain in some cases and patient suffers a lot. Clinical symptoms usually not involved during evaluation of patient this also makes diagnosis more difficult. Be very cautious during clinical evaluation then precede biochemical and radiological investigation. Even CT scan is still unclear about the diagnosis and till date no definite diagnostic protocol has made. This is still very challenging for any surgeons. Keeping in mind various differential diagnosis according to age and sex and clinical knowledge that supported by investigation required to find out definitive diagnosis.

 

Biography:

Jitendra Kumar Saroj, general and laparoscopic surgeon, has completed his MBBS & MS from King George’s Medical university Lucknow, India .where he serves as a senior resident after completing his MS degree. Now he is associate professor in department of general surgery in Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, India. He has been awarded fellowship FAIS from Association of surgeons of India (ASI) and FAIGES from Indian association of gastrointestinal Endo-surgeons (IAGES).

Recently he got prestigious fellowship FACS from American college of surgeons (ACS). he has been published many original article, case report, book chapter, in reputed journal.
